John D Wilson - Masters I - 3D - (3 Cone)
Masters I, II & III are based on my previous series of prints “The Masters” but repainted in 3D or reverse perspective
format.
The three pictures are made up of some of the most recognisable paintings, by some of the most famous artists in
the world.
The 3D effect is created by painting the perspective in reverse; this means painting the parts further from your eyes the
biggest and the parts closer smaller. As you stand away from the picture the farthest points seem to come forward and
the forward parts seem to go back reversing and giving the 3D effect.
My childlike figures have been included showing how everyone starts off painting as a child compared to what they can
achieve as they develop as artists.
